As you are probably aware, as of 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13, the Office of the Chief Public Health Officer has closed all schools, colleges and trade schools in Yellowknife, Ndilǫ and Dettah to in-person learning until at least the end of the day Friday, September 24.
While we are already delivering programs online from the Yellowknife North Slave (YKNS) Campus during that time frame, the closures will create additional challenges for students and employees.
Beginning today, and through September 24, the following measures will be in place at the YKNS Campus:
- Payments will only be accepted online or over the phone (920-3030) by credit card
- A contactless system will be set up at the YKNS campus to receive textbooks, resources, ID cards, etc. and will be by appointment only
- Classes will be delivered online; if there are any changes or exceptions, your instructor(s) will contact you with details.
We will continue to update you through your “myAuroraCollege” email and our website https://www.auroracollege.nt.ca/covid-19/ as information changes.
